A socially distanced Easter. My grandmother lives with my sister and her children so they have been isolating for 3 weeks only twenty parents away from my parents’. The separation was hard on everyone, and after a guarantee that all were symptom-free we decided to meet on Sunday to celebrate the Holy Holiday. Masks were worn except while dining, hands were repetitively sanitized and cousins stopped by to sit in a large circle on the patio and commune.

This time has been specifically difficult for my social and very energetic nephews, I had to scold him twice to not venture into they neighbors yard to play.  My other nephew was quoted asking “when the adults would stop being afraid of us.”  Strange times.
