Ugg, some days are better than others. And this day was blurry and sad.
Longing for warmer days and sunnier shores.

Had a nice little day date with my sweet Emma.
I’m so grateful to have friends willing to bridge this strange world together.
Today we went to retrieve the littles from Wisconsin. We took them there to shelter after Rachel’s neighborhood when up in flames last Sunday. Only the black owned businesses were targeted.
They say it was outside aggressors flocking to our city to create chaos and spread hatred.
Half way through 2020
three months deep in Quarantine
and one week into a changed city
we’re still seeing unification, and growth. New calls for action are painted on our business and the people are not backing down.
Also my friend Merdy moved into a lovely new apartment and a visit to her marked a stark contrast from the uproar that is my neighborhood.
Hosted a sweet friend for tea to discuss a book she’s writing. We listened to the sound of sirens harmonize with our clinking tea spoons.
What a time it is that we’re living in.
Spirits are low, but the light above the vigil sight is glorious.
I’m so tired.
I’m so sad.
