I was sitting outside reading a book when I started to notice the amount of extra cars parked on my street. Everyone was masking up and heading toward Chicago. I texted a friend and realized that a tragedy had occurred in my neighborhood.
Hoards of people showed up to show their allyship. We are not going to stand for this injustice any longer.
Nearly a month ago now, I was so backed up then that I thought it would be a sweat idea to take a photo of my new initiatives and agenda filled with goals. Little did I know the new storm about to sweep from my city through our nation.
If this isn’t a window in time. Look at the personalities so obviously displayed in each of my little men’s smiles. (or scowls on William’s part, haha)
You can almost see exactly who they’re going to be in 15 years.
Lord please grow them all to be kind and respectful and empathetic.
The tribes all here and we’ve had such a fine time!
I don’t really have words to describe how thrilling it is to have siblings that are also best friends. I’m so blessed.
Uffda.. today was weird. Just couldn’t grasp much energy and had such a HORRID migraine by noon that I decided to just go back to bed.
I only eat yellow things now..

This day was a funny one. It started with my editing and binge watching “THE BIG FLOWER FIGHT” on Netflix, I then geared up in mask and gloves to go to the garden center and buy a bunch of moss, because I know believe myself to be a moss artist. haha (results coming soon…)
Then in the afternoon I met sweet Gabrielle for the most beautiful hike. We talked future and present and smidges of past.
It was a sweet day with a sweet friend.
