I stayed in bed most of today and knit sweaters while streaming TV on my laptop. I watched a docu-series about the Bobbitt Court Cases, and the Zoey Kravitz remake of High Fidelity.
Sometimes thats how I need to spend a Monday.

I woke up today with a CRAZY STRONG hankering for liverwurst on crackers. Fortunately Cass, my roommate was already headed out for her shop and was able to find me some Bisonwurst… Even better.
I feel like I might be going the wrong way in creative food pursuits.. everyone else is learning these fantastic recipes.. and I’m finding the quickest way to get processed meats into my body. It is what it is.
I’ve started to implementing a 5:00 PM reading Happy Hour in my home, where no matter what I’m up to, I have to head to a different room and read fiction for an hour. It’s been lovely. I’ve taken to basking in the sunlight like a cat near the radiator as I escape into someone else’s reality.
Also I’m getting quite creative in my cocktail cabinet. Photos to come! haha

My BeerRunning club has been meeting every Wednesday night over zoom calls to share a drink and just commune with one another. Somedays it makes me sad because I miss being together out at a brewery, but other times it just makes feel thrilled to know I have friends that yearn to be together, and continue sharing life despite our strange present circumstances.
Finally sifting through my mail after a month away from home to find Birthday Presents, Amazon impulse purchases and Love letters scrawled on the back of paychecks, these are the people I’m SO privileged to get to have in my life.
Who wants a letter? I’m bringing back snail mail. xo
