Today was a sad day, its always a sad day. But my sister sent me this in a text and it made me so grateful for the family I have.

Today I walked down to the memorial and enjoyed some much needed time contemplating in the sunshine. Its been uncharacteristically chilly lately, and we’re all very aware Autumn is coming.

I’m exchanging the busy moments for slow ones and don’t have much to report from this day except that Asher is regularly sticking stuffed animals into his pants and pretending he has a tail, and that my perfume counter looks ominous in the evenings.

I have been doing a cleanse and media deprivation this week. It is A DOOZY to be focusing on eliminating so many different things at once, but I am feeling strong and productive.
