Spent the day hanging out with this righteous punk. He wanted me to “do his hair up” so this is the style we landed on.
Later that day he wanted to go treasure hunting for jewels. We found a gaudy necklace at a garage sale that he just fell in love with. He has not taken it off since. Asher is so so special. I hope he grows up to embrace is uniqueness.

No bears last night, just misterable 20 mile an hour Lake effect winds. I decided it was time to retreat home. Nature just wasn’t interested in my company this visit.

New month, new attempted goals. I’m starting an Ayurvedic cleanse this month so as of today I’m only eating whole nourishing foods until my Kitchari detox that starts on the 8. It got FAR more chilly than I wished on the island but I took a wonderful hammock nap wrapped in wool and cozies.

Went Solo camping up in Madeline Island this week. Made evening meals, went skinny dipping, chased off a bear.. your usual Monday.
